Phew…I had to remove a lot of cobwebs to write this post today..Ive been away for a long time! Its been kind of a shaky period and it has not been easy to come here and spill my guts about what is going on!
Ive been really down about this whole graduation thing, I loved my learning experience and like an old person and her recliner Im too comfortable there. So I guess you guys would understand why I don't want to leave but since then Ive had an interesting series of events that confirmed that this bottle of milk has gone bad…my time in this place had been amazing but its expired and I need to embark on this new journey..
Anyhow I realize now that it is naive to think that this change is merely a change of setting..its really a change of culture and my expectations have totally shifted because you can't fit an old suit on to the new! I expect that I will learn a whole lot about life in general and I will start to see my profession in a whole new light!
Friends and family have showered me with their stories and experience on what this change will be like and although I will take their advice I will not let it dictate mine…
Ive heard this recently and I don't know whom to give credit for it: "Don't let anything outside your self dictate your future"
