I don't think I ever felt so random and organized at the very same time!
So childish and impetuous yet so mature and responsible! If you asked me if I
wish I were a child again, I'd say no, because I am getting the best of both
worlds, enjoying the privilege of being an adult and savoring the freedom of a
child.
Children's curiosity is one aspect of freedom, something that we learn
to set aside as we enter the boundaries of adulthood! It is this curiosity that gives life a different and exotic taste, a taste
of happiness!
My theory of paradox is that happy
people exist despite the fact they're unhappy most of their time. A happy life
is one that is free from hunger, poverty, wars, diseases, hatred and death.
This happy life does not exist! Not even in fairy tales, so practically one can
never be absolutely happy because there is always something that is lacking, we
are always deprived of something.
I do believe there is no happiness
on earth, what we actually experience is a bunch of happy moments! And accordingly,
and getting back to my theory of paradox, a happy person is one who easily
achieves these happy moments!
I wonder if you're following!
If a happy moment was a tree,
curiosity is the water! Curiosity from a child's perspective of course! Are you
curious enough to watch a bee collecting a flower's nectar? Or lying on the
ground beneath the summer sky gazing at the stars, heedless to the dirt that
might cling to your clothes and hair? Enough to observe birds' behavior and try
to tell a male bird from a female one? To stand laughing under heavy rain? To take
a bus instead of your car? To have a walk in a cold weather when the wind is so
strong that it feels as if it's slapping your face? Countless are the examples
if I am to reckon! Unspeakable the joy and the amazement!
I have chosen this style of life, it doesn’t
save me from pain or sadness, yet it gives me brief moments of happiness that
rejuvenate my heart and spirit!
Beauty is everywhere, embrace it
whenever you can
