I am
the detached person meditating on the roof 30 minutes before the sunrise! You will
be surprised by my observations on the behavior of pigeons, birds and crows.
It is
in fact becoming a very important part of my day! Today, while waiting for the
pigeons to appear, some crows were heading towards the north (the pigeons
always fly in flocks from the north to the south, about 10 minutes after the
sunrise). I was worried, despite the fact that I do love crows, but I started
having these dark thoughts of the crows attacking the pigeons. Few minutes
later, and to my relief, pigeons appeared. It made me feel that I've been harsh
in my judgment on the crows, and it also made realize that animals and birds
are more humane to each other than are human beings themselves; especially with
all the violence and bloodshed taking place in almost every country in the
world!
That
was a brief explanation of the poem pigeons and crows inspired me to write:
"More Humane"
The
sun's silky rays stretch their warmth
Over
your invisible, sky floating railroad.
My eyes
anxiously roam
My ears
strain themselves to catch your coos!
A gang
of crows with a swagger flies
Towards
the north where you reside!
A conflict
over territories, I'm afraid!
From
authority's bloody war; do refrain.
Ah my
pigeons, finally you've merged!
Your
pearl-like flickering wings dissipate
The
fear of a cruelty-untamed.
Forgive me; I now know you're more humane
Than the humans walking on earth!
